West Coast Helicopters has been operating out of Port McNeill since 1994. Over thirty years we have built a reputation across BC for reliable, professional helicopter services, from forestry and wildfire support to heliskiing and medevac.
Behind every operation is a dedicated team of pilots, engineers, and ground crew to bring the same standard to every job, whether it's a routine resupply or a critical emergency response.
We operate out of Port McNeill's municipal airport, purpose-built as a rapid deployment hub for fire suppression and forestry operations. Our bases span BC's coast from Bella Coola to Port Alberni.
From commercial forestry to life-saving evacuations, our fleet is ready for every job British Columbia demands.
West Coast Helicopters is a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) specializing in third party maintenance for commercial or private operators. Our experienced engineering staff delivers a full range of maintenance services.
Our maintenance operations are based out of Port McNeill and Campbell River, equipped to handle your aircraft's full maintenance requirements.

West Coast Helicopters operates under a fully integrated Safety Management System (SMS) developed to meet Transport Canada standards. Every staff member is trained to actively participate in the SMS, identifying hazards, contributing to risk assessments, and applying safe working procedures on every operation.
Our SMS is supported by documented Safe Working and Operational Procedures and a Health, Safety, and Environment Management System, ensuring consistent, auditable safety practices across all bases and operations.
